New Hope Christian College, located in Eugene, Oregon, was founded in 1925 and is currently under the leadership of Guy Higashi as president.
Mission: New Hope Christian College, an institution of higher education, exists to disciple emerging Christian leaders by developing their theology, ministry skills, and character in order to win souls, plant fruitful churches, and lead as exemplary ambassadors for Christ in the ministry and marketplace.
Mark Kelley is Interim President of New Hope Christian College, stepping into this role from serving as Dean of Academic Development since 2013. He also teaches Bible in the traditional classroom and in both NHCC’s undergraduate and graduate online programs. Dr. Kelley has been a pastor in Friends churches for over 35 years and has served in leadership positions on numerous denominational boards and committees. He is a graduate of George Fox University and George Fox Seminary and received his D. Min. from Drew University.
