Dan Wielenga spent his growing years in a beautiful, rural corner of northwestern Michigan where his love for God’s creation took root in cherry orchards, cedar swamps, and the routines of life on a small, quiet ranch. He received his undergraduate degree from Montana Bible College and a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Western Seminary. Currently, Dan chairs the Outdoor Discipleship Concentration at Montana Bible College where he seeks to bring biblical perspective to Adventure Education trends and studies in Creation Ethics. He is presently intrigued with the question of how the relationship between God and His creation, and the place of humans therein, should impact the discipleship process within the Church.
