Join us for the 2016 Seminary Stewardship Alliance Annual Gathering: “Permaculture”

On October 13-15, 2016 liaisons from partner schools across the nation will meet together for the Seminary Stewardship Alliance annual gathering in Portland, Oregon.

The theme of this year’s gathering? “Permaculture: Developing a Creation Care Culture in Christian Higher Ed.” As the title suggests, we are looking at dealing with systemic and cultural issues in our institutions as they relate to the issues surrounding creation care.

Keynote speakers:

The gathering will begin with a welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant on Thursday evening. The next day and a half will be spent in plenary talks and break-out sessions. As those of you who have attended the annual gathering before know, many times, the most transformational moments take place in conversations between attendees. To that end, we are designing this gathering to include intentional time for the type of conversations that are an integral part of this fellowship.

So mark your calendars, and look forward to registration details coming soon. In the meantime, please prepare for an encouraging time of dialogue and fellowship together as the SSA celebrates another year of partnering together as stewards of God’s creation.

We look forward to seeing you in October. In the meantime, please pray with us for what is in store.
