Denver Seminary

Located in Littleton, Colorado, Denver Seminary was founded in 1950. Their current president is Dr. Mark Young. Denver joined the SSA in 2012, as a founding partner school.

Mission Statement: Denver Seminary prepares men and women to engage the needs of the world with the redemptive power of the gospel and the life-changing truth of Scripture. Through our educational programs and mentoring process the seminary challenges students to grow spiritually, intellectually, and professionally in order to lead God’s people in the accomplishment of His mission in the world.

David Buschart is Associate Dean, and Professor of Theology and Historical Studies, at Denver Seminary.He is coeditor of and a contributor to Scholarship, Sacraments, and Service and has published a number of articles, essays, and book chapters. Widstrom is Chair of the Department of Youth and Family Ministries and Director of the Outdoor Leadership Concentration at Denver Seminary.  He is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America. His research interests include culture and ministry contextualization, adolescent crisis response, and the engagement of faith-based institutions with public schools.
